Garden at the Beach

This client loves bold and colorful flowers, and wanted her seaside retreat not just as an escape but a place to grow a garden. 

Plan

The landscape was designed with spaces that are a natural extension of the home.  Each has a different purpose and experience.  The front yard is natural and relaxed.  An idealistic extension of its natural beach environment; deer and salt resistant native grasses and colorful flowers that are home in sand.  As one moves into the private spaces of the home the gardens and containers have bold colors and reflect the tastes of the home owners.
